Renaissance Faire Photos

Students in Mrs, Niedzwiecki-Prestons' 7th grade World History classes participated in the annual Renaissance Faire.

2010 Renaissance Faire- with special consideration to the Reformation, Age of Exploration, Scientific Revolution and the Enlightenment!

Students in Mrs, Niedzwiecki-Prestons' 7th grade World History classes participated in the annual Renaissance Faire.  Each student chose a character from the Renaissance, Reformation,  Age of Exploration, Scientific Revolution or the Enlightenment. 

Each student then researched his or her character, dressed up as his or her character  and performed a play  with 3 or 4 other students in their class. 

Students were also responsible for composing  scenes for their group play and  creating individual props and stage props to accompany their character and style of dress. 

In addition, every student performed a formal Renaissance dance commonly used during the time period entitled, "The Pavan."  Students also played Renaissance games and interviewed other characters.

Overall, students did an AMAZING job! Woo Hoo!!
