GATE Seminar Enrollment

Marshall Middle School and High School SEMINAR Program Enrollment Policy:

• Current 5th graders who are Seminar Identified, AND WHO WISH TO BE IN THE MARSHALL SEMINAR PROGRAM NEXT YEAR, DO NEED TO FILL OUT A “GATE SEMINAR PROGRAM INTENT TO ENROLL” FORM. Must also provide the school with a copy of the District Seminar identification letter.

• 6th / 7th graders who are Seminar Identified, but who are NOT CURRENTLY in the Seminar Program at Marshall AND WISH TO BE NEXT YEAR, ALSO NEED TO FILL OUT A “GATE SEMINAR PROGRAM INTENT TO ENROLL” FORM.

• Current 8th graders who are Seminar Identified, AND WHO WISH TO BE IN A HIGH SCHOOL SEMINAR PROGRAM NEXT YEAR, DO NEED TO FILL OUT A “GATE SEMINAR PROGRAM INTENT TO ENROLL” FORM.

(6th and 7th grade students who are currently attending Marshall Middle School and who are currently IN the Seminar Program, DO NOT NEED TO FILL OUT A “GATE SEMINAR PROGRAM INTENT TO ENROLL” FORM.)

ALL MARSHALL SEMINAR STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO MEET MARSHALL’S GRADE REQUIREMENTS OF EARNING AT LEAST “B’s” IN THEIR SEMINAR CLASSES, IN ORDER TO REMAIN IN THE PROGRAM.
